Oops, it's February 14, did you forget Valentines Day again? Don't worry, there are plenty of last minute Valentine gifts that won't scream "I forgot." If you're one of the many who is lost when it comes to buying or making valentine gifts - fear not! Read on for ways to find the perfect valentines gift this Valentines Day!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Head to any grocery or convenience store and pick up a bag of chocolate kisses. The key to last minute valentine gifts is making them appear like they took a lot of time, and were anything but last minute! On your way home from the store start thinking of all the reasons you love your valentine. By the time you get home, you should have a mental list of reasons. Type up the list in a Word document, or if you have enough time, handwrite it out on a piece of paper. Now cut out each phrase or sentence out so it's on a thin strip of paper. You're going to use tape to attach one "why I love you" to the little white tag on every Hershey kiss. Put the kisses in a pretty glass bowl, a mason jar, or a basket (if you add a red bow it will look even better) and give it to your valentine!

  2. Step 2

A coupon book is the perfect valentine gift. A handmade book is the best, but if you're short on time, you can find printable coupons online. Coupons for your valentine should include things like "this entitles you to one afternoon at the spa", "this entitles you to one kid-free day," "this is good for a night on the town with your valentine," or "this coupon is good for a single professional housecleaning." Think of things that your valentine either loves or despises as coupon ideas.

  3. Step 3

Pick up a gift certificate to a spa where your valentine can relax and enjoy a day of pampering. If she'd prefer a massage or manicure and pedicure go with that. Plan something for her that she wouldn't spend money on herself. Make sure you schedule the appointment for her, so she's less likely to put it off because of other priorities.

  4. Step 4

Who doesn't like a letter or poem written from the heart? Handwrite a heartfelt letter to your wife or girlfriend reminiscing about why you fell in love, what keeps you love, how you feel when you see her, and what makes her a wonderful mother. Pick up an 8x10 frame and put the letter in it to give as a valentines gift.

  5. Step 5

A great last minute valentine gift for the beer or wine lover is to sign them up for an "of the month club." You can sign your valentine up for the wine of the month club online. Then on your way home or before you pick up your valentine for dinner pick up a bottle of her favorite wine or a get him a beer mug. Attach a quick note "Dear Valentine, Here are all the reasons wine I love you. (List them) Let's drink to us once a month until next Valentine's Day."

  6. Step 6

Buy the one you love a potted plant or beautiful flower. A potted orchid is always romantic and you can pick one up on your way home at any nursery or even a home garden center at Lowes or Home Depot. If you can tie a pink or red bow around the pot and you have a great valentine gift.

  7. Step 7

CDs of love songs always make great last minute valentine gifts. Download songs that have special meaning to you and your valentine. Buy songs from places like iTunes or copy them from CDs that you already have. Think of the first song you danced to, your wedding song, your prom song, her favorite childhood group, a song that makes you laugh, anything that has special meaning! You could just hand it to her, but why not put it in the CD player and have it playing when she gets home or load it in the CD player in the car so it starts automatically the next time she gets in the car?
