How to Play With Your Kids

Kids love to play by themselves, but they also love to play games and with their toys with their parents. Kids learn all different kinds of things that they can't teach themselves.

Things You'll Need:

• Toys
• Coloring items
• Paper
• Movies
• Books
• Music

1. Sit down with them and play with all different kinds of toys. Legos are always fun, but make sure they are of age. Playing with trucks and making sounds. Kitchen and playing house can teach them how to be responsible and to be nice.

2. Sit with them and read a book. Let them pick the story they want you to read. Let them help by turning the pages or holding onto the book by themselves. If they are older, maybe let them read to you to help them practice.

3. Color and draw pictures. Drawing can be very fun. Let them and help them make decorations for around the house or their room. Draw pictures for other family members, because then they will want everything to be perfect. Coloring can keep kids busy for hours.

4. Play games. Tag and hide N seek are good and very popular games to play with your kids. Tag maybe a more of an outside game, but when hiding make sure they are still in your site so they don't go running towards the road.
