Whether in a hotel room, dorm room, or sparsely furnished apartment, if you've ever found yourself without the means to cook a hot meal or snack then you will love these fabulous (and imaginative) ideas.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • electric drip coffee pot
  • iron and ironing board
  • hair dryer
  • paper towels
  • aluminum foil
  1. Step 1

You can heat condensed soup using a coffee maker. Wash the coffee pot then add the desired amount of water to the coffee maker - usually about a cup. Pour the condensed soup in the coffee pot and allow the hot water to drip just as you would when making coffee. Stir and enjoy.

  2. Step 2

You can make a grilled cheese sandwich with an iron, ironing board and aluminum foil. Make your sandwich as usual. Wrap it in aluminum foil and place it on the ironing board. Turn the iron on and allow it to heat up to one of the warmest settings. Then press it down on the sandwich. The heat from the iron will melt the cheese and give you a really good sandwich.

  3. Step 3

If you don't like eating cold left over pizza then try this trick. Place it on a plate and cover loosly with a paper towel. Hold the edges of the paper towel down with the tips of your fingers. Then set your hair dryer on high and aim it toward your pizza (but away from your fingers). It only takes a short time to melt the cheese again. It won't be as hot as it was the night before but it's certainly better than eating it straight from the refrigerator.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure all surfaces are clean below allowing food to touch them.
  • When using a hair dryer always clean the hair dryer and cover the food with a paper towel so dust and/or hair won't contaminate your food.
  • NEVER use these methods for cooking raw food as these methods only serve to reheat left over food or melt cheese.
