Make a Jeweled Headband

Jewels and rhinestones are a great way to jazz up a plain headband- they can also disguise a scratch or stain. This project is quick and easy.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Pick out your jewels or rhinestones. These should have at least one flat edge that will be glued to the headband. Pick colors that coordinate with the color of the headband, or add the colors that you want the headband to have.

  2. Step 2

Lay the jewels on the headband in a pattern you like. This is the time to get creative and try out different looks before they're set in glue.

  3. Step 3

With the hot glue gun (or super glue as a substitute), place a drop of glue on the flat side of the first jewel, and stick it to the headband. Press down on it slightly, and then let it dry for a few minutes. Repeat with the rest of the jewels

  4. Step 4

When you're done gluing, let everything dry for a few minutes. Hot glue and superglue don't take very long to dry- you can gently tap the jewels to make sure they've set.

  5. Step 5

Enjoy wearing your new jeweled headband!
