Step 1
Switch to drinking water instead of other drinks. Get rid of pop, coffee and tea. Water is healthier for you and it is cheaper. Bring a bottle of water with you wherever you go.
-
Step 2
Eat eggs. Eggs are full of vitamins they have plenty of protein and they are relatively inexpensive. While eggs do contain dietary cholesterol, this dietary cholesterol is not bound to blood cholesterol. Eggs have some of the highest nutrient counts for the price.
-
Step 3
Buy frozen vegetables. Sometimes you can't afford or don't have the time to make fresh vegetables. Using frozen vegetables is still healthier than, for example, than using frozen fried cheese sticks.
-
Step 4
Get some fish oil. Omega 3 fatty acid is an important part of a healthy diet and you can find it in fish oil. The benefits of Omega 3 include lower cholesterol levels, reduced body fat and less inflammation. Try to get fatty fish three times a week or if you must, fish oil supplements.
