Driving you own car to go to your destination is a convenient way to travel. But what if you are driving and then suddenly your tire flattens? You gotten stuck helplessly on the side of the road with a flat tire. and What if you are on yourself with nobody to change your tire. Here are the tips you need to know.

  • Spare Tire
  • Jack
  • Crank
  1. Step 1
    Put the Hazards

    If you have a flat tire, make sure that you stop at the side of the road. Makes sure that your vehicle doesn't bother other car and the traffic. Always put your hazard lights and the triangle hazard sign when you have a flat tire so that you can warn any passing vehicles and Apply emergency brake and put car in "Park" position.

    After making the hazard lights and hazard sign, get your spare tire. Properly Put your jack under the car. You can place your jack at a metal portion of the frame.

    Removing the Tire

    After the car has been lift up, you can now remove the nuts bu using a crank. Make you that you turn the nut at a counterclockwise. If you do it the other way, then you may break the screw in it or even the wheel bolt. Use the proper size crank to remove the nut so that it wont rattle. Remove all the nuts the then remove the tire from the sleeve.

    Put the spare tire in to the wheel. Make sure that you align all the sleeve or the wheel bolt. Align the tire bu placing all the nuts one by one. Lower you jack so that you can tighten the nuts more. You can now remove the jack under your car. Tighten you nuts again to make sure that it wont move.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure that you tighten your nuts before leaving.
  • Check regularly your spare tire so that it wont have insufficient air.
  • Don't change your tire in the middle of the road. Always park you car beside the road where you wont have to bother other cars.
