Gather old coins that you want to see their value. Search the coins for the following categories: Area/location/country, Date/Time, Features of the coin, and Condition. There are more factors that go into the value of old coins, but these major factors will suffice.

Contact a local coin collecting group in your area, or a professional antique appraiser knowledgeable in old coins.
