How to Set a Blog Post Schedule that Works

One of the most important things to do when you are blogging to make money is to blog on a regular basis. The term regular basis means different things to different people. Frequent well written blog posts will help to increase the traffic to your blog. There are many factors to take into account when you are choosing a blog post schedule that will work for you and your blog. It is this that will help to make money with your blog.

  1. Step 1

    Look at your weekly schedule laid out on paper to begin to get an idea of a blog post schedule. For most people, building a blog to make money has to be a secondary endeavor after their full time gig. This is usually because it takes time and patience to build traffic so that you can make money with your blog.

  2. Step 2

    Determine how long it will take you to research and write a post for your blog. You will also want to factor in time to promote your blog in your schedule too. Let's say it takes you 20 minutes to write a blog post and you do 20 minutes of promotion of your blog to increase traffic to your blog. Look at your weekly schedule to see how often you can schedule this 40 minutes into your day to be able set a blog post schedule.

  3. Step 3

    Try to set a schedule of at least three new blog posts a week. These should be posts that are no shorter then 200 words. If you can manage a new post a day, you be able to make money from your blog even faster then the 3 post a week minimum when you set a blog post schedule that will work for you.
