Pigs in a Blanket are fun and easy to make. Kids love 'em, and adults eat 'em up! They're great for parties, or childrens sleep overs!
You could even have your children help out!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 bag Hillshire Farms Cocktail Weinies
  • 1 can Pillsburry Doughboy Breadsticks
  • baking sheet
  • wax paper or Pam Non-stick cooking spray
  1. Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Either grease cookie sheet with Pam Non-stick spray, or which ever grease you prefer. I personally use wax paper, because it makes for easy clean up later.

  2. Step 2

Open the can of Pillsbury Doughboy bread sticks. Stretch a bread stick and cut it in half. (If you skip this step there will be more dough than weiner.) Wrap it around cock tail weiner.
    Continue for desired amount.

Make it your own, by lightly sprinkling your favorite seasoning over the piggies before placing them in the oven.

  3. Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown, checking occasionally.
Please supervise children in this process.

This recipe makes about 2 dozen pigs in a blanket.

Tips & Warnings
  • For an extra kick, you might try sprinkling shredded cheese over the piggies about 15 minutes into baking.
  • Serve with Mustard, or Ketchup, or whichever condiments you prefer.
  • While this is very easy to make, please do not leave children unattended around the hot oven.
