Things You'll Need:
- 18" round pan
- 12-16 oz pizza mix
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb sausage
- 1 pkg peperoni slices
- 16 oz pkg grated cheese
- 8oz can pizza sauce
- any additional toppings you like.
-
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. While oven is heating, pour pizza mix in large mixing bowl. Add 1oz tap water to mix. Stir throughly. Dough will become lumpy. Put 1 tsp vegetable oil over dough. Turn dough over in bowl, usuing large spoon. Oil should cover the entire ball of dough. Cover with a cloth and let stand for 5 minutes.
-
Step 2
On top of the stove brown your ground beef and sausage together in a frying pan. Add meat seasonings to taste. Drain excess grease from the pan. Let stand for 5 minutes.
-
Step 3
Cover the pizza pan with oil or other cooking spray. Be sure you completely cover the entire pan. Take your finished dough from the bowl and put it on the pizza pan. Starting in the center push the dough evenly to the edges of the pan. You will need to wet your hands with water, to keep the dough from sticking to you. (You may need to dampen your hands a few times). After the dough has been pushed to the edges you are ready to add the toppings.

Step 4
Pour your sauce onto the dough, spread with a spoon. Smooth the sauce to cover the entire dough surface. Next add you grated cheese to form a layer over the dough. On top of the cheese add ground beef and sausage mixture to cover the cheeses. Add one more layer of grated cheese. The last thing to do is add your peperoni slices on top. Add any other toppings to taste. Cook in the oven on the middle rack, until the cheeses are melted, and the edges of the crust are brown. Remove from oven and allow 10-12 minutes to cool. Serve alone or with a tossed salad. It is quite a meal
