How to level a pool table

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 foot Bubble Level (or longer)
  1. Step 1

You will need a bubble level. At least 2 feet long. The level should fit on the green between the rails to get the best accuracy. If the bubble on the level is left of the middle, then the side of the table under the left end of the level needs to go up, or the opposite needs to go down.

  2. Step 2

Most tables have adjusters on the legs. If not you will need to improvise. Usually the adjustmants are the "feet" on the bottom of each leg. They screw in to make the leg shorter, screw out to make the leg taller.

  3. Step 3

Using a level crossways and lenghtways, determine which corner of the table needs to go up or down. You will prob need an assistant to lift the corner of table that needs adjusting while you tighten or loosen the adjustment. Adjust the legs until the level puts the bubble in the middle.

Tips & Warnings
  • You want to put the level on the green directly from 1 side pocket to the other, then from the q ball hole to the rack end. It should be level both ways.
  • Pool tables can be heavy so be careful!
