This article is about recycling, being creative, helping the universe be saved a little better with my tips and best buys for consumers.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Since we live in a throw away world, it is up to all of us to sustain living for the next generations. Not just our family is at risk if we keep on doing things as usual, but the world. If only one suggestion is learned from this, an accomplishment has been achieved. We all can use our garbage a little better.

  2. Step 2

    1. Any container that has had food in it can be used for another purpose. With diligence by thoroughly cleaning it, we can never buy another plastic container again, ever. The meat containers can be cut for use to catch spills from hand cleaners in pump bottles. Use them for packing rather than purchase packing materials. They make a good base for cleaning products that might drip or cause rust areas when stored.
    2. When you buy cottage cheese or sour cream, reuse them for onions and leftovers in refrigerator. Mayonnaise containers can be decorated for canisters after the contents is used.
    3. Peanut butter containers can be used to store rice, noodles, raisins, shredded coconut, nuts and much more if a little thought goes into that before discarding those empty containers.
    4. The best buy is the original contents and the reuse of the empty plastic container afterwards. Think this as you purchase items such as: juice jugs for storing and transporting water for a picnic along with others.
    5. As the spices are used up, restock from bulk purchases rather than throw out and rebuy another container.
    6. Jelly jars can be used for bulk honey containers. At times a natural food store will encourage using containers, so you might recycle numerous containers to them for others to use as well.

  3. Step 3

Think with each purchase and certainly before you throw a plactic container away in the garbage. We all can make this a greener place now and in the future too.If you cannot reuse it, recycle.
