Step 1
Turn the White’s metal detector off when not in use.

Remove the batteries from the White metal detector when not in use. Remove the battery holder from the detector, and remove the batteries from the holder.

Store the metal detector inside, out of the elements.

Step 4
Be careful not to drop the instrument when prospecting.

Step 5
Do not use the White’s metal detector as something to lean on or as assistance in standing up when prospecting.

Step 6
Don’t use WD-40 or other lubricants on the metal detector.

Step 7
Do not make mechanical changes to the detector during its warranty period, or you will void the warranty.

Step 8
Do not store in extreme heat, such as in the trunk of the car during summer. Keep out of direct bright sunlight.

Step 9
Do not get the control box wet.
