Looking to have a great dinner? Want to make your friends drool with a great tasting meal? Try this Italian Parmesan Chicken.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Chicken
  • 1 Can of Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Jar of Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Packet of Powdered Italian Dressing Mix
  • Vinegar
  • Cooking Oil
  • Eggs
  • Cookware
  1. Step 1

Pour about 1/4 of the can of Bread Crumbs into a bowl. Add about 2/3 of this amount of Parmesan Cheese. Mix in the entire packet of Italian Dressing Mix. Shake or stir well until the bread crumb mixture is well mixed and of an even consistency.

  2. Step 2

Crack two eggs into a separate bowl. Add about a teaspoon of vinegar and beat the eggs thoroughly.

  3. Step 3

Dip the chicken into the eggs. Make sure the pieces of chicken are covered entirely with egg.

  4. Step 4

Roll the egg-covered chicken in the Bread Crumb/Parmesan mix. Be sure to coat the entire piece of chicken with the mix.

  5. Step 5

Cook the chicken in a pan. Use enough cooking oil so that the breading is frying in oil, not cooking on hot metal. Cook it on medium heat, flipping regularly. Cook until the the breading starts to get darker brown and crispier.

  6. Step 6

Sit down for a great meal. The chicken will be tender, moist and the breading has a great flavor.

Tips & Warnings
  • The flavor is great and versatile. It goes great just by itself, with rice/potatoes, spinach, salad, etc. Or you can go entirely Italian and add noodles/marinara type sauces. Give it a shot!

on 7/10/2009 This sounds delicious! I make something similar only I add a little lemon juice to the egg mixture. I serve it over some of those butter herd noodles and add a tiny bit of lemon juice to the noodle sauce also.
