This fun craft makes a great gift and can be done with children under adult supervision. Bath ice cream is similar to a bath bomb. When dropped into a warm bath, it fizzes and releases oils and fragrance into the water. The twist is these are shaped like scoops of ice cream. Things You'll Need

  • 1 1/2 C. baking soda 1/2 C. citric acid 2 Tsp almond or apricot oil 10-15 drops essential oil 5 drops food coloring 1/2 Tbsp water Wax paper Ice cream scoop (optional)

Instructions

      Combine 1 1/2 cups of baking soda with 1/2 cup citric acid in a bowl.

      Add in the oils and food coloring and stir until evenly moistened.

      Add water and stir. If the mixture crumbles, you may add more oil or water as needed to create a smooth but thick texture.

      Scoop out some of the mixture with a lightly oiled ice cream scoop or spoon and then let the ball of mixture slide out onto a piece of wax paper.

      Let dry until hard, which could take a few days.
