1. Download a spy removal program. One popular spyware removal program is spybot S&D. Spybot S&D is a spyware removal tool that searches your registry and windows files for programs that do not belong. If it finds any it gives you the option to remove them.

2. Make sure that you have the latest definitions for your spyware removal tool. Also, make sure that you have the most updated version of your operating system and you have all additonal security updates.

3. If you are unable to remove the spyware from your computer, type the name of the spyware that spybot S&D gives you into google. Some spyware programs take additional work to remove. Sometimes, it even takes a fresh reinstall of windows to remove spyware.
