    The Vehicle

  1. Step 1

    Buy a "for sale" sign. These signs are available at some drugstores and most hardware stores.

  2. Step 2

    Write the car's details and a phone number on the sign.

  3. Step 3

    Place the sign in the car's rear window.

  4. Step 4

    Park the car on the street.

  5. In the Free Newspaper and the Sunday Paper

  6. Step 1

    Find a local classified advertising circular with an automotive section.

  7. Step 2

    Write a draft of your advertisement.

  8. Step 3

    Find the "Submit an Ad" coupon in the newspaper.

  9. Step 4

    Cut out the coupon, fill it out, attach your ad or copy it in the space provided, and send it in with a check.

  10. Step 5

    Submit your ad over the phone, if possible, for faster service.

  11. Step 6

    Find the Sunday classifieds for your local newspaper.

  12. Step 7

    Find the automotive section.

  13. Step 8

    Find the section, usually on the front page of the classifieds, explaining how to submit an ad.

  14. Step 9

    Write out a draft of your ad.

  15. Step 10

    Call the newspaper and ask for rates.

  16. Step 11

    Edit your ad for space as required - shorter adds are usually cheaper.

  17. Step 12

    Submit your ad by phone and pay by credit card, if possible.

  18. Step 13

    Extend your ad as necessary by calling the newspaper's classified office.

    Using a search engine, locate an online bulletin board for your area.

  21. Step 2

    Write out a description of your car.

  22. Step 3

    Transmit a photo if possible.

  23. Step 4

    Supply a telephone number and e-mail address.

  24. Step 5

    Repost the ad as necessary.

on 10/27/2009 I just wanted to add that I found out that it’s now possible to make pictures of products in 3D, even cars. I think this will increase online sales for cars, just imagine your car on your your screen in 3D…I tried it with mine and they liked it so much so that they asked me to allow them to put it on their website…well anyways check out the result on ( http://3dbin.com/public/crtxclfv ) ! (It’s the nice black Audi S3 … with black BBS Challenge Rims and full 3inch exhaust from the Turbo to the End J )
