Treat Chapped Lips

Is the icy weather causing your lips to be be dryed out, chapped, and painful? Here are some simple tips to keep your lips looking and feeling healthier and moisturized- no pain included.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Applying lip balm before you go outside can help protect your lips against the frosty weather. A lip balm with an SPF of 15 is even better as the sun can also do some damage to your lips, even in winter.

  2. Step 2

I personally find that the CoBigelow lip shine and lip buffer works really well with my lips, and my lips can get very damaged. You can find these products at Bath & Bodyworks and on the company's website.

  3. Step 3

Not drinking enough can also dry out your lips and cause some chapping, so make sure you stay hydrated.

  4. Step 4

Other products that help treat damaged lips are petroleum jelly, vitamin E oil, cocoa butter, and aloe vera gel.

Tips & Warnings
  • Other factors such as smoking can also cause damaged and chapped lips, so be sure to avoid or break the habit.
