Get Backlinks to your Articles

One surefire way of getting better traffic and better results on search engines is to get links back to your articles online - also known as "Backlinks." Here's the best ways to get these important links.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Articles
  • An Internet Connection
  1. Step 1

If you write on several different websites and blogs, there is no rule that you can't backlink to yourself. This is an easy way to get links and you will be able to control it completely.

  2. Step 2

Similarly, eHow allows you to backlink to your own articles on Ehow in the "resources" section. Take advantage of this.

  3. Step 3

Try backlinking to other people's blogs and articles if you find what they say informative and helpful. Maybe they will return the favor.

  4. Step 4

Certain web sites, such as Yahoo Answers, allow you to post links. However, sometimes they view this as spam and ban your account.

  5. Step 5

Certain tools, such as Webconfs backlink builder, allow you to easily find potential locations of external backlinks. What this means is you type in a word that describes your article, and they help you find web sites that - in some form or another - allow you to post the link to your article because it relates to the overall discussion topic.

  6. Step 6

Certain social bookmarking websites qualify as backlinks, others do not. It depends on how they organize their web site. Overall, though, if you extensively social bookmark, you are likely to pick up a few external backlinks.

  7. Step 7

Write high quality articles. This is important, because the higher quality you write, the more likely someone will read what you write and simply backlink you on their own blog or forum. It will happen without you knowing about it, and it will happen for the best reason: because someone likes what you have to say!

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't spam your backlink everywhere. Only do it where it is on topic. Spamming is rude and does not help you in the long run.

on 4/22/2009 The most simple method of creating links is to select the SEO keyword and search the word on any major search engine. Begin by reviewing each of the Top 10 or Top 20 pages returned from the search result. Firstly, research the page ranking from the potential back link page. If that page has relevant content and a good ranking, scan the page for a potential area on the page that a back link can be placed. Ideally the position of the link should offer good exposure for even web surfers. Repeat this process weekly or monthly. Free back links do not always provide the best quality for increasing link popularity.Get Back Links To Increase SEO Link Popularity at http://ads.freekii.com/recommended_sites.html
