Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 skinless chicken breast, filet in ½ and pound with a meat mallet to ¼ of an inch thick
  • 1 Tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon, crushed/or powdered
  • 1/3 cup paprika flavored cream cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons sour cream
  • Up to ½ cup shredded cheese
  • 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
  • ¾ cup plain bread crumbs (may use flavored crumbs, then omit seasoning salt)
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • One 2-quart size baking dish
  • 8 toothpicks
  1. Step 1

Combine onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoning salt in a dish. In another small dish combine chicken bouillon, cream cheese, sour cream and shredded cheese. And then place bread crumbs in the shallow bowl combined with seasoning salt (or already seasoned bread crumbs).

  2. Step 2

Sprinkle filets with onion powder mix on both sides to season the chicken.

  3. Step 3

Place 1-2 tablespoons of cheese mixture in the middle of the filets and roll up tightly secure with a toothpick.

  4. Step 4

Then roll the chicken in the bread crumbs and freeze up to 30 minutes on a covered plate.

  5. Step 5

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. or 190 degrees C.

  6. Step 6

In the large frying pan heat butter and oil over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from freezer and remove toothpicks. Brown the chicken and place in baking dish.

  7. Step 7

Bake for 20 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked (no pink, clear juice).
