Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Purchase fresh cauliflower from your grocery store or a local farmer's market.

  2. Step 2

Remove the stem and leaves from the cauliflower and rinse it in cool water. Break the cauliflower into small pieces.

  3. Step 3

Place the rinsed cauliflower into a steamer pot and place it on the stove. Steam the cauliflower until it is tender when poked with a fork. Approximately 15 minutes of steaming is sufficient.

When the cauliflower is done steaming remove from heat and allow to cool for about 10 minutes.

  5. Step 5

Place the cauliflower in your food processor and puree until it reaches the consistency your child is comfortable with. For a thinner puree add water as you process.
