Things You'll Need:
- Beads - enough for a small loop
- Wire - I use 0.45mm gauge
- Earring loops
- Needle nose pliers
- Scissors
-
Step 1
Choose your beads. I chose two hematite beads and three unakite beads.
-
Step 2
Cut a length of wire much longer than the intended size of your earring. This will allow for both mistakes and large room to tie your knots.
-
Step 3
Tie a knot in the bottom of one end of the wire so that you can string beads onto the wire and allow them to rest there. Make sure you leave enough room (at least three inches) at the end of the wire below the knot to be tied, later.
-
Step 4
String your beads in the intended order.
-
Step 5
Form a loop with the beads, and secure each end to the loop in the earring hook. I used 3-4 knots to make sure that the the loop of beads doesn't come off, spilling beads everywhere.
-
Step 6
Repeat for a second earring.
