Step 1
The first thing you will need to do, if you are selling your house without a realtor, is to put up some "For Sale" signs. Make them big enough so that they are noticeable.

A great place to start selling your house is by running ads in your local newspaper. You may also want to find out the local free papers in your area, and run ads in those also, since they have a high amount of readers every week.

If your area has a local talk show on the radio that gives out ads for people, call in, and have them run your ad for your house or property. These radio stations have listeners from several different counties, and who knows, you may be lucky enough to sell right away.

Use the internet to sell your house. Places like http://ebay.com, have a high rate of traffic with people looking all the time for a great deal. Someone may be looking to buy a house in your area. Of course running a real estate ad on Ebay will cost you a 100.00 for the listing fee, but if it sells, it will be worth it.

Other places that you may want to consider are http://landbidz.com which does not have a large listing fee, and are very easy to use.
