Decorate a Champagne Glass with Glitter
Decorate a Champagne Glass with Glitter

This is an easy way to add some sparkle to your champagne glasses.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Set your champagne glasses upside down. You may want to cover your work surface if it would be damaged by glue.

  2. Step 2

Put a drop of glue on the base of each glass (what will be the underside when the glass is right side up). Spread the glue with your finger or a paintbrush so that the base is lightly coated.

  3. Step 3

While the glue is still wet, sprinkle glitter on the base. Press the glitter into the glue, and shake the glass so that excess glitter falls off.

  4. Step 4

Leave the glasses upside down, and let them dry for at least 24 hours. If you try to use them too soon, they'll get stuck to the table! If you want to speed up this process, try blasting them with a hair dryer on the cool setting, or leaving them in front of a fan.

Tips & Warnings
  • Choose glitter that matches the theme of your party: red for Valentine's Day, silver for New Year's, etc.
  • Don't use hot glue for this project, you'll burn your fingers (and it doesn't spread very well).
  • Don't put these glasses in the dishwasher- handwash only.
