Make IBS safe Bread Pudding

Another Safe Recipe for the IBS SAFE food Vault! Delicious warm bread pudding.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • about 1 cup tapioca starch ( to sub for eggs)
  • 2 cups soy milk(can use rice)
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/2tsp cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 cups cubed bread( such as french or thick white bread)
  • Options are raisins or bananas!
  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 F. In large bowl stir together tapioca starch/soy milk. Then add in the sugar/cinnamon/salt if preferred.
If you would like to add things to make it more creamy i suggest using honey and some nice ripe bananas!

  2. Step 2

lightly grease a bread pan such as a 8x1 1/2 inch round pan. Place cut cubes of bread into pan and distribute evenly. Pour the mixture carefully over the bread. You can sprinkle more cinnamon over top. Or sprinkle raisins over top.

  3. Step 3

Place in oven and bake for about 40 to 50 minutes. Insert a knife or fork and if what else, it comes out clean then it's done! Sit out to cool for 30 minutes. It should cut out nicely. Feel free to drizzle more honey or add melted sugar on top and allow to dry for a nice sugar crust!
