Craving that fresh from the garden blueberry pie? Frozen blueberries can be just as good as fresh blueberries from the garden. It is like a taste of summer.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pilsbury Pie Crusts (2)
  • 1 Qt of Blueberries
  • 1/2 to 3/4 C of sugar
  • 3T all purpose flour
  • Water
  • Butter
  • 1 T Sugar
  1. Step 1

Mix the quart of blueberries, 1/2 to 3/4 cup of white granulated sugar (depends on you and how sweet you want the pie to be), 3 Tablespoons of all purpose flour, and a little water (just enough to get the ingredients wet. I would say about a Tablespoon).

  2. Step 2

Make sure all ingredients are incorporated together. Put the bottom crust into a pie pan. Add all of the mixed ingredients.

  3. Step 3

Top with pie crust. Put foil around the edges to prevent burning.

  4. Step 4

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove the foil for the last 5 minutes of baking add butter to the top and sprinkle with sugar. Bake the last five minutes and remove.

  5. Step 5

Cool before serving to allow pie to "set". Good served alone or with ice cream.

  6. Step 6

Thank you for reading the article.
