Although Valentines Day typically is the busiest time of the year for florists, there's no time like the present to send your special someone a dozen roses. But before you do, don't forget to do your research. We all know that red roses mean love, but what about the other colors? Read on to find the true meaning behind each color.

    Red Roses- Traditionally stand for Love and romance. Red roses are typically the most popular of all the colors received as a gift on Valentines Day.

    Peach Roses- Traditionally stand for Appreciativeness, and honesty. Give one to your favorite teacher!

  3. Step 3
     

    Pink Roses- Traditionally stand for Affection.

  4. Step 4
     

    Orange Roses- Traditionally stand for Warmth and Enthusiasm.

  5. Step 5
     

    Yellow Roses- Traditionally stand for Cheer and Friendship. What a great way to tell your best friend you care!

    White Roses- Traditionally stand for Marriages, Adoration and Admiration.

  7. Step 7
     

    Lavender Roses- Traditionally stand for Love at First Sight.
