Do you hate when you are in a hurry and you go out to your car and there is a pile of snow and ice on your windshield? Here is an easy way to cut those de-icing times completely.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • beach towel or old bedsheet
  1. Step 1

Grab an old beach towel or equivalent size old bedsheet and an ordinary roll of scotch tape. Prepare your vehicle's windshield for covering by wiping off any moisture or dirt that is already on the vehicle's windshield with paper towels or sponge.

  2. Step 2

Place the old beach towel or bedsheet on the front windshield of your vehicle. Fit the chosen peice of cloth until the whole windshield has been covered. Tack the cloth down with tape, if needed.

  3. Step 3

When you come out in the morning, remove the beach towel or bedsheet from your windshield. All the snow or moisture will have collected on the cloth and you will have no de-icing times.

Tips & Warnings
  • Tack the chosen cloth down with scotch tape onto the windshield glass itself. That way, your vehicles paint will not be damaged in the process.
  • Remember to remove the piece of cloth from your vehicle's windshield before operating your motor vehicle.
