This is a slightly different version of the sausage ball. Just with cheese added! This is a simple recipe for a finger food or appetizer for any party!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 Cups All-Purpose Baking Mix
  • 4 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Pound of Frozen Sausage, Thawed
  • 1/2 Cup of Milk
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper (optional)
  • Mixing Bowl and Wooden Mixing Spoons
  • Oven Preheated 350 Degrees
  • Lightly Greased Baking Pan
  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sit your 1 pound of sausage out the let it thaw. Mix 3 cups of the all-purpose baking mix and 1/2 cup of milk. Mix well and make sure there are not very many lumps. You will add the rest of the ingredients in the next step.

  2. Step 2

Add to the above mixture the 4 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 pound of sausage - thawed - and the (optional) 1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper. Mix together well.

  3. Step 3

Lightly grease your baking pan with butter or pam non-stick spray. Form 1 inch balls with the mixture and place onto baking pan. Place in preheated oven and allow to cook for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Tips & Warnings
