How to Kiss

If you are young and inexperienced, maybe you would like some tips on how to kiss. In this article I will give my advice on what I consider to be a good kiss.

Things You'll Need:

• gum or breath mints
• a "friend"

1. Before you try to kiss anyone, make sure you have pleasant, fresh breath. Brush your teeth and your tongue. If you don't have a brush handy freshen up with some gum or breath mints. Do away with the gum before you start kissing. Guys, girls don't like chewing tobacco or dip, and many don't like smoke, so if you do any of these things, make sure you clean up first. (This goes for the girls to, if you use tobacco).

2. Begin with just lip contact for at least a little while. Don't just start to kiss and immediately stick your tongue into the other persons mouth.

3. After a few seconds of lip kissing, begin by gently moving your tongue back and forth on her lips. Then ease your tongue into her mouth. Don't ram your tongue in as far as you can, you don't want to gag her. Think of it more as exploring her mouth.

4. Try gently taking their lower lip and sucking on it. Gently! Don't suck blood to the surface.

5. Lets talk moisture level. You want the kiss to be moist but not wet. Don't forget to swallow. Excessive spit can be really gross. You don't want dry either, but if you are really nervous your mouth might be dry. If this is the case, try taking a sip of water, or if you have to, some gum, but try a smooth move just before the kiss to put the gum away.

6. Don't go into the kiss all hands. You will know when the time is right for this later, but for first kisses it is inappropriate and disrespectful to grope your new friend. Don't know what to do with your hands? Try holding her face with them. Girls find this sweet, and maybe even sexy. If face cupping is not for you, put your arms around her. It's OK to put your hands on her back, just don't busy yourself with trying to unhook her bra or trying to work your way to her rear.

Tips & Warnings

• Some of the kisses I use to do with a special boyfriend when I was young, we made up and/or named. Sure, it was silly, but we just had to say the one word and the other knew what to do. I will share them with you, you might want to try some.
• Eskimo: this is an easy one to figure out, we would rub noses.
• Butterfly: this one sounds easy to, but I was never sure if the way we did it was the actual right way; we would put our faces together with one eye nearly touching the others and blink a lot. LOL.
• Platypus: We made this one up. Flatten your lips and stick them out like you are trying to make a duck bill with them. Then, holding this pose, kiss each other. This is not for necking, just a quick, silly kiss.
• Breathing: We would put our mouths together and breath. To do this, when one breathes out, the other breaths in the air the other one expelled. Back and forth. This is extremely intimate and not recommended for casual daters.
