Step 1
First, eat lots of fruits and vegetables! These are your best source of antioxidants. Recent studies show that consuming a lot of fruits and vegetables slows down the aging process for your brain. Eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables a day!

Step 2
Exercise! Exercising is the best way to stay healthy and to stay fit. Studies show that those who exercise better retain their cardiovascular system and youthful energy. Walking or jogging for at least 30 minutes can add years to your life! You could also play sports or go swimming. The bottom line is to stay active!

Step 3
Avoid the sun at all costs! Do you want to look like a raisin? If not, make sure that you try to avoid the sun as much as possible. If you can, wear sunblock to protect the rays from damaging your skin. Remember, the sun's rays are the strongest between 11 AM and 2PM.

Step 4
The next step is to relax. Many of us actually have a hard time doing this. Bills to pay, things to worry about, all these problems seem to be endless. However, studies show that stress can accelerate aging. Learn to cope with stress, because it sure can add years to your life.

Step 5
Have lots of sex! Studies also show that having frequent sex releases massive amounts of endorphins, which is your body's stress-fighting drug. Who knows, you might become a sex fiend after all!

Step 6
Spend time around people that make you laugh! Laughter can actually reverse aging. Those with a funny sense of humor retain a much youthful appearance. Go out and rent a funny comedy movie! It could save your life!

Step 7
Treat your body like a temple. Stop drinking and doing drugs. Taking good care of your body is like taking good care of your car. The more gentle you are with it, the longer its lifespan will be. Take it easy, get lots of rest, eat healthy, and enjoy longevity!

I wonder how many readers would agree, in a poll, that they almost always treat their bodies as a temple? I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a staggering number... Thanks! 5*
