Step 1
The first thing that you should do is think about something they like to do or make a list of hobbies they have. The hobbies can include anything from gardening to sports to video games. Whatever they like to do, just write it down!

After you have a list of hobbies, you should have a price range in mind. You shouldn't just go out and buy something that you think they will want without knowing what price range to look in. Whether your price range is $5-10 or $25-50 or $100-1000 that is up to you, but have something in mind.

Choose one of the hobbies and start searching around for things under that genre. The internet is a great resource for this. You can virtually visit several stores in a short amount of time, without having to go anywhere.

Simply put, look for something in the price range that you are looking in. It shouldn't take too long for you to find something that they will enjoy!
