Things You'll Need:
- Vinegar
-
Step 1
Use vinegar to clean your coffee pot. To effortlessly clean your coffee maker fill the water holder with white vinegar. Then put in a filter and turn the pot on. After half of the vinegar has run through, turn the pot off for a half an hour. After thirty minutes has passed, turn it back on to finish. When you use vinegar to clean, your coffee pot will be spotless on the inside.
-
Step 2
Pour one cup of vinegar in your empty dishwasher and reduce soap build-up. For a sparkling clean dishwasher use vinegar to clean once a week during the rinse cycle or use vinegar to clean when ever your glasses start to have water spots.
-
Step 3
Use vinegar to unclog a drain. First pour one cup of baking soda down your drain followed by one cup of vinegar. The vinegar and the baking soda will expand and clean your drain. After a few minutes, turn on the hot water and flush out the clog.
-
Step 4
Use vinegar to clean the toughest problems. Hate cleaning grease? Add a few tablespoons to vinegar to your dishwashing soap. Use a washcloth with vinegar to clean greasy kitchen walls.
-
Step 5
Use vinegar to clean your bathroom. Mix one cup of vinegar with five cups of water and pour into a spray bottle. Clean faucets, floors, mirrors, and toilets. Clean mold and mildew in the shower. Unclog the shower-head by soaking it in vinegar for six hours. Vinegar gets rid of mineral spots too.
-
Step 6
Use vinegar to clean walls. Before painting, clean the area with vinegar on a cloth for a nicer looking paint job.
-
Step 7
To use vinegar to clean clothes, add one half cup of vinegar into the rinse cycle of your washing machine for whiter whites and brighter colored clothes.
-
Step 8
To shine chrome, make a paste of two tablespoons salt and one teaspoon white distilled vinegar. Use the paste to clean chrome.
-
Step 9
It's easy to use vinegar to clean the microwave by mixing one half cup white distilled vinegar and one half cup water in a microwave-safe bowl. Put the bowl in the microwave, and bring it to a boil. Food stains will easily wipe clean.
Use vinegar to clean just about anything.

on 1/21/2009 Great stuff! I am a die hard vinegar user! It also works great on windows and tv screens (glass only).
