Step 1
First of all, open up Internet Explorer and look in the top right corner. Depending on your version number, the 'tools' pulldown button will be in the top right or on the top near 'File.' Click Tools and scroll down to 'internet options.' This is where you can manage all different aspects of Internet Explorer.

Step 2
To delete your cookies, look where it says 'browsing history.' In this area, there should be either a delete button or tab. Click this button. When the new box pops up, make sure you check the little checkbox that asks you if you want to remove all offline content. It is important to check this box.

Step 3
Offline content refers to saved websites that have been downloaded to your computer so they can be quickly viewed later. This used to be more important with dial-up internet, but high-speed has made this obsolete. Some sites still save their pages on your computer however, which can slow your PC down.
