Things You'll Need:
- 1 cup unprocessed bran
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. cardamon (optional)
- 6 Tablespoons honey
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 2 Tablespoons molasses
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup oil
- muffin tins
- spray oil or butter/margarine to grease muffin tins
- OR- use paper muffin cups

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Grease muffin tins or place paper muffin/cupcake cups in each section of the muffin tins.
Put the dry ingredients in a bowl. Press the mound of ingredients down to make a well in these ingredients. -
Step 2
Whisk the liquid ingredients and pour them into that well.

Whisk all these ingredients together so that the dry ingredients are well moistened and the ingredients are well-distibuted throughout the batter.

Pour this batter into paper-lined or greased muffin tins. Place the muffin tin in the center of your pre-heated oven.

Step 5
Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.
To test for doneness: Insert a toothpick to the center of a muffin. If the toothpick comes out clean, the muffins are ready to come out of the oven.
Empty out onto wire cooling racks.
