Easy and fun activity you and your family can make together! You'll learn how to make beautiful painted glass bulbs that when the lights on your Christmas tree hit it, will glow and look fabulous.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

First what you want to do is spread newspaper out over your work surface, it can be a messy project! Next take the clear glass bulbs (carefully) out of the case or package they came in. Then take the tops off the bulbs.

  2. Step 2

Then you want take your first color of acrylic paint and squeeze some out of the bottle and into the glass bulbs. Swirl the paint around by twisting the bulb slightly. Then empty the excess paint onto your laid out newspaper. Then do the same thing with your next color.

  3. Step 3

Then when you're done with the above steps let dry and put the the top of the bulb back on and you have a beautiful ornament for your tree.

Tips & Warnings
  • Instead of just Christmas colors try something different! I used light blue and white and it turned out beautifully!
  • Be careful because some of the glass bulbs can be thin!
