  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. maple flavoring

      Pout water into a pot and place it on the stove on high heat.

      Stir in the sugar slowly as the water begins to come to a slow boil.

      Stir the sugar-water mix continuously and then remove it from the heat just as it begins to come to a roiling boil.
