How to Sell Your Runescape Account

OOOH, Shiny money

Want to make some quick cash? Play Runescape? Heres an easy guide to selling your account for some Runescape gold, items, or even real money!

Things You'll Need

• Runescape account
• Paypal account (only if selling for cash)
• Marketplace
• Middle Man (Not required)

Instructions

1. 

   Sign up on a 'black market' site. Most of these sites will have things called: 'Reps'. Reps are how trusted you are. When you do something for another member and there's risk involved and you pull through, other members will vouch for you saying that you did a great job and that you are trusted. The more reps you get the more people will be willing to trade with you. You should get some of these if you're planning on staying long term or are counting on selling a high level account. Heres some sites to check:

2. 

   Take some screenshots of your account (Check resource on how to do so). Include a picture of the character, stats, banked items, and blackmarks. Optional photos would be: Days of membership left, emotes, quest points. Host them on tinypic.com or imageshack.us . Photobucket links the picture back to you, so it's not reccomended.

3. 

   Create a new thread on the specified forum for the account you're selling. Make your thread topic catchy and include your payment options. EX: PKer! Awesome Stats! [RSGP/PAYPAL]
   In your thread post:
   *Payment Options
   *Who's going first
   *The pictures from STEP 2
   *Reps (If you have any)

4. 

   Leave your contact information so you can close the deal faster. Going first is always risky. If you can, try to talk the buyer into going last. Make sure to delete recoveries on the account and remove all pins before transferring account over

5. 

   If going last, check to make sure that you've gotten the payment and that it says: Verifed Bank Account. Now message the person back thanking them and include the account in question's: Account Name & Password.
   If you didn't delete the PIN or recoveries, include those too. Have fun selling your account

Tips & Warnings

• Price check the account before hand, so you're not selling an overpriced account with no biters

• Scamming someone will not only get you banned, it will give you bad rep to each black market. Don't scam and everyone will be happy

• It's best to cover your IP address & Account's name (unless it's a rare name and would sell more). This protects yourself from unwanted reports, spyware, bans etc..

• People with more Reps/Vouches are the ones you want to trade with. Beware of people below 10 posts.

• If accepting paypal ONLY accept verified bank accounts. Ones with credit cards can be recalled and you're down an account and all your money you just made.

• Going first is risky and makes you more vulnerable to getting scammed.
