Abdominal muscles form the core of the body. Achieving a set of well-defined abdominal muscles is the dream of many, and it can be within your reach with hard work, patience, and dedication. Read below to find tips for achieving a set of more defined abdominal muscles.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Lower your body fat. A slimmer stomach can show off defined abdominal muscles more. Following a healthy exercise regimen and a diet that is high in protein and moderate in carbohydrates and fat – and achieving weight loss slowly – can lead to weight loss that will show your abdominal muscles to a better extent.

  2. Step 2

Do exercises that will lead to achieving more defined abdominal muscles. These include doing sit-ups, crunches, the bicycle maneuver, and exercising with weights (weight-resistance) and exercise balls. These exercises, combined with slimming down your tummy, will build abdominal muscle along with setting a stage to show abdominal muscle gains off to the best extent.

  3. Step 3

Even if you don’t achieve a legendary six-pack, you can achieve washboard abs by working to decrease the amount of fat while increasing the amount of muscle around the abdominal area of the body. Like any muscles, abdominal muscles will respond to being exercised. Even if you can’t initially see the difference, you can rejoice in having strengthened the muscles that form the core of the body.
