Things You'll Need:
- Accurate paintball gun designed to be a sniper
- Ghillie Suit
- Patients

Step 1
The first step to becoming a good sniper in paintball is learning how to low crawl through weeds and dense brush. You can practice low crawling on many different surfaces to perfect this. To test yourself, set up some wooden dowels 2 feet off the ground and practice crawling underneath them.
-
Step 2
Once you have the movement down, it's time to dress up so no one can see you, as your objective is to not be seen by the enemy. Ghillie suits work amazing for this but they can be very expensive. Making your own is a great alternative, see my article on "How to make a paintball ghillie suit" to help you out with this. It is best to have at the least some type of camouflage that matches your surroundings, this will help reduce how visible you are. You also need a good sniper gun, see my article "How to design a paintball sniper gun" for help with this as well.

Step 3
Now that you blend into your surroundings, have a good accurate gun, and are able to low crawl extremely well, you are almost ready for the field! Just a few more things, you need to be able to be as quiet as possible, you need to know just how your enemy will move across the field, and lastly, you need to know when to shoot!
-
Step 4
Situate your self, well concealed in a spot that you know at least one of your enemy guys will walk past. Be prepared, but be patient, as it can take a long time for the action to come to you, but when it does, you need to be ready! Your objective is to shoot the passing enemy in the back, if is are more than one player walking past, shoot the last one just as they are beside you, this way the others will have to turn to find you, giving you time to take out the rest of the group

Step 5
Follow these instructions and you will be well on your way to being the best paintball sniper you can be!
