First open the package and locate the battery to the phone. Make sure to put the battery in the correct way. Put the cover on the back of the phone.

Open the phone and power it on by pressing and holding the red "end" button.

Dial *228 and you will be asked to follow some simple instructions. You will need to type in the area code in which you would like to use the phone the most. You will then choose between 3 different prepaid plans. Each cost a different amount per day, and offer different benefits.

Once you select the plan you want, the phone will continue with the activation process. Activation time usually takes anywhere between 3 to 5 minutes.
