How much money you can truely make on eHow

One of the best opportunities to make money working from home is right here on eHow. The idea is simple: write an original "how-to" article about something useful, publish your article, and sit back while the money comes in! Oh if it were only that easy... The following steps illustrate how it is possible to make good money working from home, and the beauty of passive residual income.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Spreadsheet program such as Excel
  • Basic writing skills
  • Ideas
  • Patience
  1. Step 1

To figure how much money you can make on eHow, it all begins with: "how many articles to write per day". This is the one factor that you and only you control in estimating your income. All other factors are somewhat out of your control, however the better written article with a good subject will improve your number of views and placement in search engines. In my example, I use 4 articles per day.

  2. Step 2

Budget the number of views per day per article. Be realistic. Unless you are incredibly cutting edge, you will be low man on the totem pole. I used 15 views per article per day; the better the article, the more views you will have. Throughout my illustration I am conservative. If I make more money, thats fine!

  3. Step 3

Budget the time that it will take to write your articles on average. If you are a writer by trade, and have lots of ideas, you may be able to turn out several articles per hour. If you are like me, I would budget 3/4 of an hour or more to write a quality article.

  4. Step 4

Input the above information into an excel spreadsheet along with a conservative rate of pay per view of .0009. The end result is that if you consistently write 4 articles per day, you might achieve just over $500.00 per month by the end of your first year on eHow. By that time you will have written 1440 articles.

  5. Step 5

The final step of writing eHow articles is to understand and realize the power of residual passive income. If you consistently write 4 quality articles per day over 5 years, your monthly income could reach $2,800.00, based on the above assumptions. If you were to stop writing at that point, you would continue to receive income since you own the rights to your articles! What are you waiting for, get started writing!

on 8/12/2009 You have motivated me to write more. The key to making money on anything you put your energy and effort into is to believe that you can make lots of money. Visualize it in your life while you work at it and it will come to you. In anything stay positive and have faith. Simple and powerful. Good job!!!!
