Things You'll Need:
- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup of diced sweet onions
- 1 small green bell pepper
- 16 oz sour cream
- 1 can of refried beans
- 1 small jar of salsa
- 1 8 oz bag of shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 1 Large bag of scoops tortilla chips
-
Step 1
First, chop up your onions and peppers and place them in a large frying pan along with your chicken breasts. Add one cup of water and cook them on medium heat until the chicken is well done and the peppers and onions are fully cooked. You may need to add more water during the process. Keep about a cup of water in the frying pan while cooking the chicken, peppers and onions. If your peppers and onions get done first, you can drain them and set them aside.
-
Step 2
When the chicken, peppers and onions are all cooked, remove the onions and peppers from the pan and put them in a large bowl. Make sure you have drained the water from the peppers, onions and chicken before putting them in the bowl. Next, cut your chicken in 1/2 inch squares and place them in the bowl. Pour in 16 oz sour cream, 1 can of refried beans, 1 small jar of salsa and shredded chease. Stir all ingredients well.
-
Step 3
After you have mixed all ingredients you can get your tortilla chips and eat the dip or you can refrigerate the dip until it is cold and then eat it. This dip should be served in a small bowl with chips on the side or put on a party platter with a bowl in the center and chips surrounding the dip. Enjoy!
