This guide will show you a few simple steps that you can use if you'd like to get your ollie quite a bit higher.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

For every ollie, put in your best effort. Bend down close to the ground and crack down as hard as you can. You really need to build up your leg muscles if you want to get high ollies. Ollie anything and everything you can find. Take a few friends skateboards and stack them on their sides and do as many as you can.

  2. Step 2

If you are new to skateboarding, don't panic over the height of your ollie. It takes time to get used to the balance and pop of an ollie. Muscles need to be developed and trained to perform high ollies every time. If you give a weak effort for an ollie, you aren't training your muscles to do anything but weak ollies.

  3. Step 3

Start slow and ollie a 2x4 on the ground. Roll faster and faster each time and pop as high as you can. After a few days of getting this, step it up to higher and higher things. Don't get discouraged if it takes you a month to ollie two skateboards stacked lego style. Everybody learns at a different rate.
