Making Snowman Earrings With Beads

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 Ear Wires
  • 2 6ml. size Chez fired crystal beads round
  • 2- 3-4 ml. size round Chez Crystal or other bead of your choice
  • 2- Head pins
  • 2- Small flat roundel beads for the hat brim, black
  • 2- Black small beads for the top of hat
  1. Step 1

String 2 of the Chez crystal beads onto an headpin. These crystals can be slightly different sizes if you want your snowman to be tiered. The larger of the beads on the bottom next to the head of the headpin. Take a look at the lay out and see if you like the choice of beads you are using. Crystals look nice, but plain milk glass beads looks like snow too.

  2. Step 2

Place the small bead that is for the head onto the headpin and top it with the black flat roundel style bead for the hat rim. Place the last bead on the top of the roundel. This is the smallest black bead.

  3. Step 3

Cut the headpin off if there is too much remaining for the basic loop that finishes off the earring. This loop will be used to hang it onto the earwire. Wrap the loop, using the roundnose pliers. One simple loop is sufficient. Open the loop of the ear wire and attach snowman to the earwire. Close loop.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try different size beads for the look you want.
  • My sizes for the beads is just personal preference.
  • There are lots of types of beads that would look nice made into snowmen. Lay a few out and see which you like best.
  • Be sure to wrap the ending loop tight enough so it will not loose the earring off the ear wire.
