In order to help your friends on Ehow, or just to link to an article you like, you can place a hyperlink in your Blog, MySpace page, FaceBook wall, or on any web page or social bookmark like Stumble, Delicious, or Digg. You can also post links to your articles on Press Release, News and Industry Portal sites. Depending on the rank of the site that links to your article, it will help the Ehow article gain popularity and be more successful and even get ranked in Search Engine results!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a computer with internet
  • a web browser application
  • a web site or social media account or blog.
  1. Step 1

    Popular articles have links

Go to the web and search for topics related to your EHow articles and add the words 'news' or 'press release' or 'portal' after the topic when you search.

  2. Step 2

Look thru the results for a site that might allow you to post a review or teaser to your article with a link to the full article.

  3. Step 3

Submit your site- write good content to get your link published, or just ask for a link.

  4. Step 4

Look for other sites that discuss your topic and ask for reciprocal links.

  5. Step 5

Log in to all of your social networking sites, blogs, etc and and post ONE link to your Ehow article there with some good descriptive sentences describing the article topic using good keywords.

  6. Step 6

Ask your friends to read your article and review it on their blog and link to it.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use keyword rich anchor text in the links - for example if your article is about Potty Training Puppies, make the link on the words "potty train puppies" NOT on "click Here".
  • Do not over do it, one link per outlet is sufficient - or your could get penalized for spamming the Search Engines.
