Step 1
Let your kids make the food. Kids like to see how the food is made and if they see it they may eat it.
-
Step 2
Hide it in the food. If you put the healthy food in some thing they like they may not see or taste it so they may eat it and not know.
-
Step 3
Tell them how the food help their body's. Kids are not dumb they want to feel and look good so they may eat the healthy food. If they know that the food will help them they may eat it.
-
Step 4
Play with the food. If you put or make the food into a food that it is not like make mash cauliflower . What they do not know will help them.

on 8/21/2009 If you don't bring junk food home then they have no other choice. Kids know what you tell them.

on 1/18/2009 Great article! I have one child who loves vegetables and healthy food, she's practically vegetarian and another who won't eat them at all! Great tips :)

on 1/17/2009 #1 is key for us. If the kids chose it and help cook it they would eat brussel sprouts.

on 1/15/2009 I'm a strong advocate of hiding vegetables. This way, if your child really loves it, you can eventually praise them for eating a certain vegetable. Within a few months they will probably be happy to try it on its own. My son thought spinach was 'herbs' for a long time and now absolutely loves it. Thanks for sharing!
