Happy Valentine's Day

Valentines Day is right around the corner. As I began thinking about this I remembered as a kid making homemade valentines and valentine holders. Cutting a perfect heart for your valentine can be tough for some of us. But I'll give you some tips for a starting point so you can make your loved one a homemade Valentines Day Heart too.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Heavy Paper
  • Internet access
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Glitter
  • Ribbon
  • Lace
  • Hole Punch
  1. Step 1

Start by going to one of the sites I given you and printing your heart pattern for your Valentine. Or if you have Print Artist like I do you can print one from there.

  2. Step 2

If you are very good, you can do it like we did as a kid. You take a piece of paper, fold it in half, draw 1/2 of the heart on it and then cut it out. Either way you go you have to start somewhere.

  3. Step 3

After you've printed your Valentines Day Heart figure out how you want to make it special. You can use glitter and ribbon to make a real special one.

  4. Step 4

It's your valentine for Your Valentine. This is an inexpensive way to make a Valentine's Day Heart. Be creative you have plenty of time.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you punch your holes after you glue your glitter on you may have to give it a second coat.
