How to Save Money on Cleaning Supplies

I will tell you how to save money on your household cleaning supplies

Things You'll Need:

• Cloths
• Spray Bottles
• Sponges

1. Use colored cloths instead of pricey paper towels. Color code the cloths by room example: blue=kitchen, green= bathroom. Clean and wipe up any spills with the cloths and then launder. You will not pay for something that you will just throw away and help the environment.

2. Keep your old spray bottles that had cleaner in them. Wash them out and then mix your own spray cleaners. I buy Lysol or Pinesol to mop with (depending on what is on sale) I then take the Lysol or Pinesol and fill the spray bottle up 1/4 with the cleaner and then add water. Spray and clean No more seperate cleaners.

3. Strtch the life of your sponges by throwing them in the dishwasher once a week. Not only does it sanitize but it also extends the life. Sponges can also compliment the cloths mentioned in Step 1.
