Save Money on Cleaning Supplies

I will tell you how to save money on your household cleaning supplies

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Use colored cloths instead of pricey paper towels. Color code the cloths by room example: blue=kitchen, green= bathroom. Clean and wipe up any spills with the cloths and then launder. You will not pay for something that you will just throw away and help the environment.

  2. Step 2

Keep your old spray bottles that had cleaner in them. Wash them out and then mix your own spray cleaners. I buy Lysol or Pinesol to mop with (depending on what is on sale) I then take the Lysol or Pinesol and fill the spray bottle up 1/4 with the cleaner and then add water. Spray and clean No more seperate cleaners.

  3. Step 3

Strtch the life of your sponges by throwing them in the dishwasher once a week. Not only does it sanitize but it also extends the life. Sponges can also compliment the cloths mentioned in Step 1.
