Losing weight is a constant struggle for millions of people. Here is a simple, effective way that anyone can lose a pound a week.

  • Common Sense
  • Moderate dedication
  • Walking shoes
  • Water
  1. Step 1

    Set aside 30 to 45 minutes a day, 5 to 6 days a week to walk around your neighborhood or local park. Make sure to have a good pair of walking shoes.

  2. Step 2

    Drink plenty of water daily. The average person should be consuming 8 glasses of water daily. Proper hydration is key in weight loss and exercise.

  3. Step 3

    Monitor what you eat and do not over eat. Eating 6 smaller healthier meals a day is better than 3 large meals. Make good food choices. If you do have a "bad" meal all is not lost! Get right back to making "good" choices!

  4. Step 4

    Grab a friend! Having an exercise buddy makes losing weight fun and easy. A good support system can make or break you achieving your goal.
